Juventus eye 3rd straight win, host SPAL

Juventus target a third straight win as they host promoted side Societa Polisportiva Ars Et Labor 2013 (S.P.A.L.) at Allianz Stadium in the Italian Serie A.

The six-time defending Scudetto holders struggled in the start of the month, dropping down the table after a 2-2 draw with Atalanta and a stunning 1-2 loss to Lazio at home, where they saw a 57-game unbeaten run snapped.

But the Bianconeri have bounced back since that defeat, turning back Sporting CP 2-1 in the Champions League, and once again came back from 0-1 down and scored four goals in the last 40 minutes to storm past Udinese 6-2.

SPAL, last season’s Serie B winners, have so far failed to adapt to the rigors of top flight football and have only scored five points in nine rounds after losing six times and winning only once.

As expected, Nextbet heavily favours the holders with a Juventus win priced only at 1.14, while a SPAL win is backed at 24.41.

With Juventus coming off such a big 6-2 win against long-time Serie A club Udinese, the handicap prices are worth noting. A -2.5 handicap against the Torino club is offered at 2.21, while a -2.25 handicap against Juve pays 1.97.

Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain have only three goals in nine appearances in Serie A this season but he came close against Udinese, that’s why Nextbet is offering 1.49 if the Argentine scores anytime in the match.

Another Argentine, Paolo Dybala is expected to put his name in the scoresheet at 1.49 in Nextbet since the 23-year-old already have 10 league goals this term.

Midfielder Sami Khedira, who bagged a hat-trick in their demolition of Udinese, is far in the betting for anytime goalscorers at 2.54.
