Celtic welcome Rosenborg at Celtic Park in the first leg of their match in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

The Scottish champions advanced to this round after beating Linfield 6-0 over two legs, including a 4-0 thrashing of the Northern Ireland squad in Glasgow.

Rosenborg are in good form and will have great momentum as they are currently leading the Norwegian Eliteserien after 17 matches, but they needed extra time to beat Dundalk 2-1 at Lerkendal Stadium (3-2 on aggregate).

Celtic, who finished their domestic campaign unbeaten and with three domestic trophies, are favored to beat the Norwegians at home, with a win for the Scots backed at 1.46, while an upset from Rosenborg is priced at 7.32.

The Bhoys won four of their last five home games, including three victories with at least a two-goal winning margin. With that said, -1.25 handicap against Brendan Rodgers’ is offered at 2.03.

Brendan Rodgers’ side will be without striker Leigh Griffiths, who got suspended after provoking Linfield fans in the first leg of the last round when he tied a scarf on the opposing side’s goal frame.

Aside from Celtics and Rosenborg, there are other notable teams who will try to advance to the next round.

Ligue 1’s Nice and Europa League runners-up Ajax will meet in the first leg of their match, while Belgian Club Brugge will face Turkey’s Istanbul Basaksehir.
